Amplemarket review (2026): premium contact data inside a sales platform

We reviewed Amplemarket's data only, not its sales platform. It was second of ten at finding the LinkedIn profile behind an email, answered work email lookups in half a second, and found tech stacks nearly as broad as BuiltWith's. The data comes with a platform subscription from $600 a month.

pipe0 buys data from Amplemarket and runs it in several of its waterfalls. We reviewed only Amplemarket's data, not its sales platform. The scores come from our own benchmark, not from that relationship. How we review

Summarize

What we reviewed

Amplemarket is an AI sales platform: prospecting data, multichannel sequences, a shared inbox, a dialer and its Duo AI agents. We reviewed one part of it, the people and company data behind the API, as a source for enrichment.

Tested for

  • Finding work emails from LinkedIn profiles
  • Finding the LinkedIn profile behind an email address
  • Tech-stack data on 10 SaaS and 10 e-commerce websites

Not scored here

  • Sequences, the inbox, the dialer and deliverability tools
  • Duo AI agents, intent signals and job change alerts
4.2/ 5

Our score for Amplemarket, the average of the three criteria that apply

Reliable people and company data: second on reverse lookups with high agreement, half-second work emails and broad tech stacks. It comes bundled in a full sales platform.

Best for

  • Sales teams that want data and outreach in one platform
  • Waterfalls that need fast, well-agreed work emails
  • Resolving email addresses to LinkedIn profiles

Skip it if

  • You only need data and don't want a sales platform contract
  • You need a few hundred lookups a month, not thousands
  • You filter on a company's current tech stack without checking it
Ease of use4.2/5

One API key and one fast, synchronous request per person. People search is narrow: few include and exclude options, and a 20-value cap per filter the docs don't state.

Data quality4.0/5

Accurate when it answers, with 76 to 84% agreement on work emails, but it leads no test: fourth of nine on work emails, second on reverse lookups behind Surfe.

Pricing valueN/A

Not scored. Amplemarket doesn't sell its data on its own; it comes with a platform subscription from $600 a month, so there is no data price to judge.

API and agent access4.4/5

A fast, synchronous REST API on every account, with email answers in half a second, batches of 10,000 people, 500 requests a minute and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT.

How we tested
  • The reverse lookup waterfall leaves out Aviato, part of pipe0's default, which returned no person data on our account in October 2026.
  • Each test ran on 100 to 120 records.
  • The LinkedIn profile set passed one vendor's resolvability filter, so absolute rates run higher than on a typical list. Comparisons between providers stay fair.
  • The signup set is real pipe0 signup emails with no vendor involved in choosing them, a harder and more realistic population than the profile set.
  • The pipe0 waterfall is pipe0's default provider order for each test. Its result combines those providers' results from the same run.
  • Agreement is the share of results that match what other providers returned for the same person. It is a proxy for accuracy, not ground truth.

What is Amplemarket?

Amplemarket is a sales platform. Reps use it to find prospects, write and send multichannel sequences, call from a built-in dialer and work replies in one inbox, with AI agents it calls Duo doing much of the research and writing. João Batalha and his co-founders launched it at the end of 2019, and it raised $12 million in 2022.

Under all of that sits its own people and company data: work emails, LinkedIn profiles, firmographics and tech stacks. That data is what this review covers. We didn't test the sequences, the inbox, the dialer or the AI agents, and the scores say nothing about them.

How good is Amplemarket's data?

Amplemarket's data accuracy is above average. It was second of ten on the hardest test we run, finding the LinkedIn profile behind a signup email address, and its answers there agreed with the other providers 94% of the time.

On work emails it found an address for 56% of 120 LinkedIn profiles, fourth of nine, and answered in half a second. When it did find one, it matched Surfe's address 50 times out of 61. pipe0's default work email waterfall, which runs Amplemarket second after Wiza, found an address for 84% of the same profiles.

Its company data is broad too. On 20 websites it found a CRM, payment, email or pixel tool in as many categories as BuiltWith, plus back-office software a website doesn't show.

A category counts when the tool found at least one technology in it, e.g. a CRM, a payment provider or an email tool. BuiltWith counted only technologies it marks live; Amplemarket has no detection dates and listed conflicting shop platforms for 3 of 10 stores. DataForSEO couldn't look up 2 websites that redirect.

The list has no detection dates, so a shop platform a store left years ago looks the same as the one it runs today. Check before you filter on it.

Where it falls short

Price, for anyone who only wants the data. Amplemarket doesn't sell data on its own: you buy a sales platform, from $600 a month on an annual term for two users. If your team already lives in Amplemarket, the data comes with it. If you just need enrichment, you pay for a lot of software you won't use.

Coverage on work emails is the other. Fourth of nine is solid, not leading, which is why it works best as one source in a waterfall.

Amplemarket for developers and agents

The API is on every account: create a key under Settings > API. One request finds a person by LinkedIn URL, email, or name and company, and reveals their email and phone number if you ask. Batches take up to 10,000 people or companies, and the limit is 500 requests a minute. Amplemarket also lists an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT on its pricing page.

Amplemarket and pipe0

We buy data from Amplemarket. It runs second in pipe0's default work email waterfall, after Wiza, and first in the waterfalls that find people by job title and look up a company's funding. Its company data and job openings are pipe0 pipes of their own. We put it there because of the benchmark above, and the scores on this page come from the same numbers.

If you want Amplemarket's data without a platform contract, pipe0 is one way to get it: you pay per result, and Amplemarket sits inside waterfalls you can see and reorder.

Who should buy Amplemarket

Buy Amplemarket if you want prospecting data and outreach in one platform, and your reps will use both. The data inside it is accurate and fast, though not the most complete we have measured.

Look elsewhere if you only need data. Surfe has higher work email coverage on per-user plans, and an API waterfall gives you Amplemarket's data next to other sources, billed per result.

Amplemarket pros and cons

Pros

Reliable reverse lookups

It found the LinkedIn profile behind 22 of 100 signup emails, second of ten, and agreed with the other providers 94% of the time.

Fast email answers

Work email lookups returned in a median of 0.5 seconds, against 5.6 for Wiza and 10.7 for Surfe on the same profiles.

Back-office tech data

Its company data lists tools a website doesn't show, like NetSuite, Okta and Workday, next to HubSpot and Klaviyo.

Cons

Data is sold with the platform

There is no data-only plan. You buy seats in a sales platform, with an annual term, to get the data.

Undated tech stacks

Technologies come without detection dates, so it listed conflicting shop platforms for 3 of 10 online stores.

Narrow search filters

People search takes at most 20 values per filter, a limit the docs don't state, and offers few exclude options, which rules out more complex prospecting queries.

Mid-pack on work email coverage

It found a work email for 56% of 120 LinkedIn profiles, fourth of nine providers.

Amplemarket pricing
