Our commitment to security

A padlock standing on a slab

When you connect your CRM, your inbox, or your API keys to pipe0, you're trusting us with things that matter to your business. We take that seriously, and we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

How we protect your data

Security is built into how we design, run, and maintain pipe0, and we handle your data in line with the data protection laws that apply to us, including the GDPR.

  • Your credentials are encrypted twice. We encrypt API keys and tokens with our own 256-bit key (AES-256-GCM) before they're stored, and the storage underneath is encrypted as well.
  • Your data stays in your organization. Every request is tied to your organization, and you decide who in your team can use which connections and secrets.
  • Connected accounts get only the access pipe0 needs. When you connect a tool like Gmail or your CRM, we keep the permissions we request as narrow as we can.

Your data is yours

We use your data to do the work you ask pipe0 to do, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't use it for our own sales or marketing, and we don't share it with other customers.

Our reputation is built on that trust, and we protect it. We want to be a partner that companies of every size can rely on for years.

Seeing an "unverified app" warning?

Some tools, like HubSpot, Slack, or Attio, review the apps that connect to them. While our review with a vendor is still in progress, that vendor may show a warning when you connect pipe0.

The warning doesn't mean anything is wrong with the connection. These reviews mostly confirm that an integration works as described, and our approach to your data is the same whether a review is complete or not: your connection is encrypted, used only for the work you ask pipe0 to do, and limited to the access it needs. You can disconnect at any time.

Trusted third parties

pipe0 works with established providers that we select carefully, and we review their terms and data practices before making them available. Each pipe in the pipe catalog names the provider it uses, so you can see who's involved.
